From research to the road
15 November 2021 – On November 23 and 24, 2021, the final event of the fuel research projects C3Mobility and REDIFUEL will take place after about 3 years of research work. OWI Science4Fuels was a consortium partner in both research clusters. In C3Mobility and REDIFUEL, the researchers each developed a new sustainable and climate-friendly fuel to technical maturity. Tests with demonstration vehicles proved that the fuels are suitable for practical use.

The final event will present the key research findings from the two research clusters. Dr. Monika Griefahn, Chairwoman of the eFuel Alliance and founding member of Greenpeace Germany, and Professor Stefan Pischinger of FEV Europe have agreed to participate as keynote speakers. Among others, Alba Soler Estrella, Science Executive Refining Transition at Concawe, and Prof. Christian Küchen, en2x – Fuels and Energy Business Association, will present their perspectives on “Political Boundaries and Economic Visions and Incentives” for the market introduction of sustainable fuels in Cluster 1 of the event.
