Information on data protection during your application procedure
The protection of your personal data is very important to us. Therefore we documented here the collection, processing and use of your data in the context of your application, in accordance with the relevant data protection regulations.
Data collection
In the course of your application, we will collect and process the personal application data listed below:
- First name Surname
- Address
- telephone number
- Application documents (cover letter, curriculum vitae, certificates, etc.)
- Purpose of data collection / dissemination
The collection and processing of your personal application data is exclusively earmarked for the filling of positions within our institute. As a matter of principle, your data will only be forwarded to the Human Resources Department and the department (s) of our institute responsible for the specific application process. Any further use or transfer of your application data to third parties will not take place.
Retention period of the application data
A deletion of your personal application data takes place basically three months after completion of the application process. This does not apply insofar as legal provisions prevent deletion, if further storage is necessary for the purpose of providing evidence, or if you have expressly agreed to a longer storage period.
Storage for future job advertisements
If we are unable to offer you a vacancy that is currently vacant, but we believe that on the basis of your profile your application could be of interest for future vacancies, we will store your personal application data for twelve months, provided that you expressly consent to such extended storage and use.
